We visited this cave on a recent trip to Boerne. We almost did not get in as there were several groups of scouts whom already had tickets. So buy tickets in advance if possible. The cave is beautiful with some great prohibition history. Our guide Steve was awesome, informative, and patient with all the kids/scouts that were on the tour. Warning. It is 126 steps down into the cave which means 126 steps back up. I'm 60 and not in the best shape so going back up was much harder, but well worth it if you can do it. I highly recommend.

Julia provided us with an excellent tour. We enjoyed learning about the cave’s history. She found a bat sleeping in the cave and pointed in out to the group which was an added bonus. Gift shop is cute and has some unique items. Definitely worth the drive from San Antonio or Austin. There are approximately 90 steps you must descend and of course go back up at the end. Tall people watch your head!

Klara Linder

Such a cool cave! A fun, fascinating, and affordable way to get out of the weather and see something amazing. Our tour guide, Amy, was excellent at her job, sharing the history of the cave, highlighting the most astounding features, and making us laugh with funny anecdotes. A tour that was definitely worth the price!
